Wendy Yee (Singapore)

One of the co-founders of the "Two Left Feet" dance school in Singapore, Wendy is well-known for her sensual and captivating style, exceptional following techniques, and clear and structured teaching method. A master at infusing sensual body movements into her dance, she is highly sought after as an instructor and a dancer, by Salseros and Salseras alike, from Singapore to Australia to U.S.

In the classroom, Wendy is well known for her attention to detail, clarity of instruction, and dedication to her students. Possessing a deep understanding of body movement and arm tension, she is able to clearly communicate the breakdown of movements to her students, and be specific about what they're doing and what they should be doing, while punctuating each lesson with lots of humour.

As a dancer, Wendy has an excellent understanding of what makes a good follower, and she is effortless to lead. On top of that, whether styling, doing shines or partnerwork, she exudes a sensual and captivating style that is inimitable. She is often sought by dancers who wish to pick up her captivating style and infuse a sexy yet classy quality to their dance.

Wendy has been instrumental in choreographing for and training the Two Left Feet performance team, who performed at the 2006 West Coast Salsa Congress, the 7th Annual New York Salsa Congress and the 2006 & 2007 Malaysian Salsa Festival. Whether cheeky, graceful or sexy, her routines are always inventive and most importantly, bring out the flavour of each musical piece. Every performance is marked by sharpness, synchronicity and lots of sabor.

This year, Wendy is extremely excited to be sharing her passion and knowledge with the Salseroes and Salseras at the 4th Annual Salsa India Festival 2008, and later at the 2008 Malaysian Salsa Festival in June.
